Jazz

Jazz is a genre of music that originated in African American communities during the late 19th and early 20th century. It emerged in many parts of the United States,but especially in New Orleans .
It was a lively and cheerful music, so modern and new for the time, a "black" music.
[4]Prominent jazz musicians and singers were  Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald,
listen to them singing "Summertime", a lullaby (ninna nanna) and an aria composed by George Gershwin  



Ella Jane Fitzgerald (April 25, 1917 – June 15, 1996) was an American jazz singer often referred to as the First Lady of Song, Queen of Jazz, and Lady Ella. She was noted for her purity of tone, impeccable diction, and her improvisational ability,.

Louis Armstrong (August 4, 1901 – July 6, 1971),[1] nicknamed Satchmo[2] or Pops, was an American jazz trumpeter, singer, and an influential figure in jazz music.
